Three heads are better than one

December 28, 2007

For those of you wondering about the skull heads seen above, they come with a story. While at the AASL (American Association of School Librarian’s) conference in Reno, Nevada this past October, I travelled 2 hrs. into the desert to visit rural school libraries. On the way, a group of us stopped at a local pottery shop. The area was decorated with bleached skulls.

I couldn’t resist being photographed with them, and place it here to show that this blog will be a compilation of many heads getting together to bring you the best information possible. Stay tuned!

BTW, I also have a podcast site. Thus, in addition to written book reviews on this blog, my future students will also podcast their reviews  and other topics of interest.

Be sure to add the RSS feed to your podcatcher so you don’t miss out on our forthcoming weekly episodes.

Home of the FalconsWelcome to the blog of the school library, home of the Falcons, which will become your entryway into library life. The library will live through the lives of its students = what they read, what they research, and what they do. Please plan to join in and learn with us.

I also have a wiki, so travel on over and read about more happenings in the library.

This blog will contain book reviews, so to find out what’s new in the world of middle school books be sure to check back here often.

I will also be posting information about daily happenings in the library, so check in frequently to make sure you don’t miss anything exciting that’s going on during the day.
